Add money via Card

You can instantly fund your wallet using a debit or credit card. 1. From the Home screen, tap on Wallet Funding. 2. Enter the amount you wish to add. 3. Select Card as the payment method. 4. If it's your first time, enter your card details (Card Number, Expiry Date, CVC) and billing information. 5. Confirm the transaction. The funds will be added to your selected currency wallet.

Add money via Bank

You can receive US Dollars via ACH, domestic wire, or International Wire transfer directly into your Chimoney wallet using your issued USD account details. 1. Navigate to the Account tab and select Manage Accounts. 2. Tap on the US Dollar Account. 3. Here you will find your Beneficiary Name, Account Number, Routing Number, SWIFT/BIC Code, and Beneficiary Address. 4. Provide these details to the person or company sending you money.

How to Use the 'Get Paid' QR Code

The "Get Paid" screen provides a fast and easy way to show someone your payment details so they can pay you instantly. You can access this by tapping the "Get Paid" button in the main navigation. 1. Accessing Your QR Code: Tap the "Get Paid" button. 2. Choose Your QR Code Type: - Username: This QR code is linked to your Chimoney username. Other Chimoney users can scan this to pay you directly. - Interledger: This QR code is linked to your Interledger Wallet Address. Anyone with a compatible wallet can scan this to send you a payment. 3. Sharing Your Payment Details: Below the QR code, you can tap "Share a Payment Option" to easily send your details to anyone: - Chimoney App Username: Shares your @username. - Interledger Wallet Address: Shares your unique ilp.chimoney.com/... address. - Choice Financial Group: Shares your US Dollar bank account details for ACH or wire transfers. Getting Paid: The other person can either scan your QR code with their Chimoney app or use the shared details to send you money.

Add money via Mexican Bank Transfer (SPEI)

You can fund your USD wallet by making a local bank transfer in Mexican Pesos (MXN). 1. From the Home screen, tap on Wallet Funding. 2. Enter the amount in USD that you wish to add to your wallet and tap "Fund USD Wallet". 3. On the "Complete Payment" screen, select Bank as your payment method. 4. From the "Choose payment rail" dropdown menu, select CLABE. 5. Review the Payment Quote. This will show you the exact amount in MXN you need to pay based on the current exchange rate. Agree to the terms to proceed. 6. The next screen will display the bank details, including the beneficiary name and the 18-digit CLABE account number. 7. From your own Mexican bank's app or website, initiate a transfer (SPEI) for the exact MXN amount to the CLABE account provided. 8. Once the funds are received, they will be automatically converted and credited to your USD wallet. Please note: Chimoney does not hold or maintain an MXN wallet for users. This method is solely for funding your USD wallet via a direct conversion.
